Discover Local Night Life in Tono: Kagura & Shishiodori Practice

Step into a real evening in rural Japan.

This experience takes place in a traditional farmhouse in a satoyama village in Tono, where local people gather to practice Kagura and Shishiodori (deer dance), cultural traditions passed down for generations.

Starting around 7:30 PM, we will travel together about 1 km from the meeting point to the farmhouse by car or bicycle with lights.

Inside, you will observe the practice while locals relax, share drinks, and enjoy conversation. You are welcome to join them, talk, and experience the warm atmosphere of the community.

This is not a staged performance, but a genuine local experience where you can connect with people and culture.

This experience is open to all guests. Staying at our accommodation is not required, but overnight guests may receive special benefits.
